Fun facts:

General
◈ Most of my writing happens in a private discord thread in the middle of the night
◈ I'm fond of silly easter eggs. There's probably some I set up and then forgot about xD
◈ I do needle-felting!
◈ Spoilers are what gets me into things!Zines
◈ I have discovered the existence of zines with Purge, a BNHA Stain zine, which I was accepted to in August 2021. It was the best possible introduction.
◈ The first zine I moderated was Fragile Things, a Centaurworld zine as a writing mod.Notable mentions:
◈ Anthem of Freedom - my first soc med! I was brought in mid-creation, and it coincided nicely with my DSMP obsession, which made for the most exciting experience!
◈ Hands of Time - Goncharov (1973) was the wildest Tumblr trend! I wanted nothing more than a zine about it, and I'm happy this one happened!
◈ Of Love and Lore - This one was a wonderful experience! I loved working with this mod team, and it was the best organized project I've been a part of to date.
◈ Rattle the Stars - my baby <3 The first zine I headed! It was a bit of a bumpy ride, but it ended up a massive success & I've learned a lot over the course of it!
◈ Vitae (Dazai Osamu) - my second-born akfjghkafjh This zine takes the cake for the best vibes in the server. All of the contributors were a blast and I've made so many new friends in there!
◈ Purge - my first, best experience ever <3
◈ Tsukuyomi - the cheesiest piece possible <3
◈ Junpei's Cut - my beloved 😭 I took a shot at a hopeless case and ended up being included by some miracle :D
◈ Crossing Swords - the first OP zine I applied to, and the first one I ended up getting accepted into! I'm so happy to be in a zine about Law and Zoro, two of my fav blorbos <3
◈ Pigments of Imagination - this might be my Magnum Opus, at least when it comes to zine pieces. Can't wait to share the piece with everyone!!Merch & Fandom Events
◈ Most of my merch comes from zines. I only bought three of them - Sabo zine, Charlotte at leftovers and Ladies of Yokohama! (the rest were contrib/mod comp)
◈ I went to 3 cons so far! (Animecon UK in Feb 24, Aicon PL in Mar 25 and Tsurucon PL in Jul 25)
◈ My fav merch types are washi tapes and shaker charms. I like more unusual merch as well; So far my rarest have been: a blanket!, spinning carousel standee, bottle caps, charm with a bauble, magnets, a pencilcase. One Piece
◈ I got into OP by reading ZoSan fanfiction with almost no context. Later I've finished the OPLA but to date I've watched no more than 15% of the anime and read no manga
◈ Thanks to this fandom, I've done more art than EVER
◈ I even traded some art at a con! It was really fun <3To Be Hero X
◈ Originally, I thought it was a stand-alone movie, not the first episode of a non-adaptation donghua. By the time I realized, it was far too late xD
◈ I wrote some of the first fics in that fandom!
◈ Before the fandom tag was canonized, I made a collection so that we could still use some filters on the fics xD I emailed AO3 at the same time, and they ended up canonizing it within a few weeks!Dr Stone
◈ I was brought into Dr. Stone by force & watch exclusively with a specific friend <3
◈ There's a life-sized cut-out of Senku in my room
◈ I've hand-made an Asagiri Gen cosplay!Squid Games & Demon Slayer
◈ My sister got me into both of them. I happened to be in the room when she & bro watched the second half of S3 and that convinced me to watch Squid Games from the start. As for Demon Slayer, she got me on a custom speedrun that omitted some "less important" episodes so that I'd be caught up when:
◈ Sis & I went to see the Infinity Castle in the cinema!
◈ We share custody of two chibimasters figurines: Akaza & Rengoku <3MXTX's works
◈ I started out with SVSSS. At first, I liked Shen Yuan best, but with time, I got way more fond of Shen Jiu!
◈ My favourite part of MDZS was the Yi City arc <3
◈ I've started watching Untamed, but it's going slow. I'm returning the favour and forcing sis to watch with me tho xD

The OP stuff:

Thank you for joining me as I explored the world of One Piece! While I might still post pieces I had written for zines, the final chapters for the two longfics I have ongoing ("Nature, Nurture" in which Akazuki adopts Ace and "between crocodiles and flamingos", a Crocomom story), or add any unfinished but significant fics into Gomu Gomu no Bites, I have no current plans to write any new OP stories. It was a lot of fun being in this fandom, and I made some friends without whom life would be much blander (dicks out for MDL o7), but the time has come for me to move on for greener pastures 💜23 Sep 2023 - 25 Mar 2025

OP AGE COMPARATOR

I've made an OP ages comparator Google Sheet (rebloggable tumblr post here). How it works is you use the dropdown menus to pick characters, and the sheet automatically shows you their age across a timeline with some major events listed.
Feel free to copy it into your drive for personal use!

The Shen Jiu Zine

There is a Shen Jiu zine currently (Aug 24th-Sep 21st) in interest check!!!If you enjoy my Shen Jiu/SVSSS fics, it'd mean the WORLD to me if you could recommend me as a guest 🥺🙏The interest check (direct link to google form) has a question (3rd from the bottom) asking for any guest suggestions in the form of a link. If you could paste in there:

I'd love you forever 🥺🙏💚🌸This project sounds really interesting, so I'm going to try my hardest to get in! Of course, if guesting doesn't work, I'll apply normally (and if that doesn't work, I'll go sit in a corner and cry a little, and then wait for the zine to go into preorders 😂) but I wanna try every avenue possible 💪You can find more info about the zine here:

Dear Creator

Hello! If you're reading this, then you're likely considering picking one of my requests for the Fic in a Box! First off, thank you for your time! Without further ado, let's get into the meat of things:

In regards to medium: You can do whatever you'd like!In regards to fic length: Same thing, if you wanna do a hundred drabbles, feel free to go for it!

Cheong Myeong/Shen Jiu

My current obsession <3
If you give me anything about them, even if it's just a 100 words drabble or anything equivalent in other media, I'll love you forever 🥺What if I don't know who Shen Jiu or Cheong Myeong is?
No worries! Have a look here for my summary of their lives (may contain spoilers for SVSSS or ROTMHS novels), or you can check out the fanlore page on Shen Jiu, the fanlore page on Cheong Myeong, or the fanlore page on their ship!I am truly not picky at all when it comes to this ship (we have a grand total of 25 fics, of which I've written 20 myself, and a handful of other miscellaneous content) please give it a think 🙏DNW: Shen Yuan tends to be a hit or miss for me, so I'd rather skip his existence entirely. Other than that, go wild!

What if I don't know who Shen Jiu is?
That's okay! SV fans don't really know him either <3 He only shows up in a single extra xD What you need to know about him(TW: torture, suicide)Character
Shen Jiu has a sweet tooth, and can play guqin. He's well-read as the Peak Lord of a Strategy/Literature Peak. His swordsmanship and raw power is rather mediocre. He prefers more "underhanded" techniques, and his signature move is Plucked Leaves Flying Flowers, where he manipulates a number of small objects (petals or leaves sharpened with qi) as his weapon.Shen Jiu believes himself to be scum. He does not see the point in defending himself from false accusations (like being called a lecher when he only goes to brothels to literally sleep safely), and will actively make any situation worse with his inaction or deliberately speaking out against himself. He is capable of weaving an insult into anything he says. The only people he's friendly with are women - either prostitutes at the Warm Red Pavilion, or his disciple Ning Yingying, whom Shen Jiu spoils terribly. He sees himself in Luo Binghe, but resents the boy for having a loving foster mother and joining a sect at prime time (unlike Shen Jiu, who joined very late). That resentment caused Shen Jiu to irrationally punish Luo Binghe at every opportunity. He cares a lot about Qi-ge, even when he believed that the other man had abandoned him. Shen Jiu also cares for the sect, enough to sacrifice himself in order to protect it.History
- Shen Jiu (yes, Jiu as in Nine) grew up in a slave group. He had Qi-ge who found Xiao Jiu as a baby and was fond of him
- SJ was sold to Qiu Jianluo in order to marry his sister, Qiu Haitang. He was tortured by QJL in various, non-specified ways
- Qi-ge went to Shen Jiu after he was sold, intending to run away with him. SJ lied that his legs were broken, but made Qi-ge promise that he'd come back for Shen Jiu
- Three years later, Qi-ge still hadn't come back, so Shen Jiu murdered every man in the Qiu Manor (he spared the women, though) and set it on fire
- SJ joined a demonic cultivator Wu Yanzi as his disciple for about a year
- SJ stumbles upon Qi-ge again, who is not only NOT dead, but in fact the Head Disciple of probably the most powerful sect in the jianghu
- Wu Yanzi departs from the world, and Qi-ge ensures that SJ joins his sect as a disciple of the second-highest Peak (imagine the Peaks like sub-sects in one big umbrella sect)
- He works very hard to reach the position of a Head Disciple, but his general disposition does not endear anyone to him.
- Shen Jiu becomes the Qing Jing Peak Lord - yay! Pretty much every other Peak Lord either hates him (10) or is hated by him (Qi-ge).
- Years later, Liu Qingge (his fellow Peak Lord, who was under the impression that Shen Jiu tried to murder him when he had literally saved his life) pointed out a boy with a good cultivation at the entrance trials. Shen Jiu immediately snatched the boy for himself.
- He hated Luo Binghe for various reasons, most of them completely irrational. He punished him frequently and violently.
- When the boy was revealed to be a half-demon years later, Shen JIu didn't hesitate to push him into hell.
- When LBH returned half a decade later and led a slandering campaign against Shen Jiu (not that it was difficult, with what Shen Jiu did himself), Shen Jiu willingly put himself into the half-demon's custody and let himself be tortured, believing that it might spare his sect/Qi-ge from getting hurt
- In the end, the sect got razed to the ground, and Qi-ge got baited with Shen Jiu's torn off legs and then killed. When Shen Jiu was presented with Qi-ge's shattered sword, he swallowed the bits to commit suicide.

What if I don't know who Cheong Myeong is?
That's okay! The novel he originates from is pretty small (less than 1k works on AO3) so it's totally understandable! Let me give you a quick run-through:
Character
Cheong Myeong loves alcohol, sweets, meats and money. He also cares deeply about his sect, Mount Hua. He is a master swordsman with a natural talent, capable of perfectly copying literally anything he sees performed. He comes across as greedy and lazy, with ideas that makes people around him clutch their heads in exasperation.
Since he got reincarnated, he grew far more responsible. Being responsible for the entire sect gave him a push to grow up properly, though he still has a lot of childish moments.History
Cheong Myeong was found as a baby by the elders of the Mount Hua sect who took him in and raised him. He had been a prodigy at martial arts, though he did not understand the importance of a solid foundation and preferred to rush ahead towards more and more advanced techniques. When he was an Elder (around 80 years old) he, alongside the other elders and most of the disciples of Mount Hua, participated in a war against Cheonma, the leader of the Demonic Cult. He had witnessed his entire sect's decimation and, while he had managed to behead Cheonma, he succumbed to his wounds shortly afterwards. The novel begins with Cheong Myeong waking up, confused at having reincarnated into the body of a beggar, Cho Sam. After getting his bearings and realizing that a hundred years had passed, he immediately begins cultivating and heads for the Mount Hua. He finds his sect at the brink of collapse, plagued by poverty, loss of knowledge and manufactured debts. Cheong Myeong immediately sets to work in order to bring Mount Hua back to its former glory, not trying particularly hard to hide his real identity. This is a very abridged summary of the canon, as the novel is currently ongoing and has over 1,900+ chapters.(It's also shamelessly copied off fanlore, since i wrote it xD)
